Blogging Makes Me Feel Bad

I just can't seem to keep up with you. You are beautiful and smart and a great mother and you are funny and witty and multi-task and have a perfect home and are crafty and have side projects and make money and write and have hobbies and good spelling and grammar and you are good wife and have a doting husband who has a great career too and you are financially stable and your blog is pretty and you post every day and you upload photos of your perfectness and you exercise and eat right and your kids wear cute clothes and you know how to dress yourself too and your kids sleep and eat vegetables and you take mini-vacations with your girlfriends and you sleep.

HAHA! You are obviously not talking to ME.

Well. I cannot deny that my blog is pretty. But that is because someone else did it for me.

LOVE THIS POST.

But you are clearly not talking about me, either.

I don't have my shit together. Far from it. But my blog looks cute because I won a bloggy makeover.

OMG - this is so hilarious. And so true. Like I told you, I've been feeling the need to get away from it all lately. Blogging is such a love/hate thing really - or at least for me it is.

Awesome. That stuff has rolled right through my brain time and again. I purposefully use my blog as a space to share mostly the funny or the positive as a way for me to focus on and preserve that part of my life. Some people use it to put it all right out there, which I also respect. But, it can be a space to create an ideal (and unrealistic) image of yourself and "sell" it to others.

You clearly can't be talking about be because I don't have a crafty bone in my body and I do. not. sleep. Waaaaaaaaa!

I just know ya'll aint talking to me cuz I'm fat and never sleep and my blog is tempermental and randomly eats comments and I recently dyed my hair a color that a friend told me made me look like I wished I was still in high school and my house is currently covered in two inches of sand and dried macaroni.

I love you. No one has it together. Not even the people that seem to. AND just so's you know. I stalk your blog every day for new posts, not because I think you should be posting every day, but because I love you and think you are wonderful. For reals. XOXOX

Big hugs!

Fabulous. Love this. Don't you describe perfectly how I used to feel whenever I looked at anyone else?

This is perfect babe! I so feel like this when I start going through my reader and looking at tweets and even aside from blogging seeing the totally put together moms in the grocery store!

I just barely make it on so many levels but I am proud of myself for attempting to be so much for my kids and family! It is just so totally clear that I am a total flibbertyjibbit running around like a chicken with my head cut off!

Brilliant little post! I don;t know how those beeatched (oops I mean super momm bloggers) do it all!

Seriously now... Women like that actually exist? I mean, I know there's a lot of pretense and wishful thinking, but in reality, who are they kidding?

This is brilliant! I hope you aren't talking to me because I'm not any of these things. Other than taking vacations - my life is a mess and my kids are hoodlums.
